Guerilla marketing is making a passionate one-on-one connection that influences someone. It lets you leave ideas behind that can influence someone when they are about to make a decision. It is memorable, unexpected and different.

When do you guerilla?
- When your goal is word-of-mouth and publicity.
- When you want to create excitement about your message.
- When you want to be very targeted and have an actionable outcome.
Here are a few things you can try:
- Stage a Post-it attack. Put Post-it notes on the lockers and walls throughout your school (but be sure to get permission first!) with attention-grabbing messages tobacco facts.
- Make your video rant about the negative impact that big tobacco has on our health, environment and post it on YouTube.
- Add a link to OVX.org on your Facebook or Myspace page and encourage all your friends to check out the site to find out the truth about big tobacco.
